RTCP packets do not encapsulate chunks of audio or video. Rather, RTCP packets are sent periodically and comprise sender and/or receiver reviews that announce stats which might be handy to the appliance. These stats consist of range of packets sent, variety of packets dropped and interarrival jitter. The RTP specification [RFC 1889] does not dictat
